Historic Porsche Fabrics Are Back: Pepita, Pascha & Tartan Now Available
Porsche brings classics back to life: Starting December 2025, legendary historic Porsche interior fabrics such as Pepita, Pascha, Tartan, and Pinstripe will be available again in authentic original quality.
This allows owners of Porsche vintage and youngtimer models such as the 356, 911, 924, 928, or 944 to restore their vehicles exactly to their original condition. The fabrics are available in our online shop.
Design That Makes Porsche History
A Porsche interior is more than just trim—it is part of the brand’s DNA. Historic fabrics like Pepita, Pascha, or Tartan stand for style, tradition, and sporty elegance. The reissue of these legendary fabrics makes it possible to authentically restore classic Porsche interiors.
Original Porsche Quality – Reissued
The reissued Porsche fabrics meet the highest quality standards: they impress with their feel, color fastness, abrasion resistance, and precise reproduction of historic patterns. Each fabric undergoes extensive testing, including fire resistance, lightfastness, and color accuracy, making them ideal for seat covers, door panels, and other interior applications.
The fabrics are available in practical sizes of 1.5 × 2 meters, making them perfect for detailed Porsche restorations.
Research and History
For the reissue, Porsche conducted in-depth research in the company archives and secured rare original pieces. In the U.S., they discovered an unused 911 seat from 1975 in green Tartan—perfectly preserved as a reference for reproduction.

The Stories Behind the Iconic Fabrics
Pepita: Introduced in 1963 in the Porsche 356 and from 1965 in the 911 F-Model. Inspired by the fashion world and Christian Dior, Pepita is considered a timeless classic.
Tartan: Represents tradition, craftsmanship, and exclusivity. First available in the 911 Turbo in 1974.
Pascha: First presented in 1977 in the 928, inspired by motorsport checkered flags. The dynamic rectangular pattern conveys energy and elegance.
Today, these fabrics are not only making a comeback among Porsche Classic fans but are also used in modern special models such as the 911 Spirit 70.
Conclusion: Historic Porsche Interior Fabrics Available Again
With the reissue of historic Porsche fabrics, restoring old and youngtimer models has never been easier or more authentic. Pepita, Pascha, Tartan, and Pinstripe once again stand for originality, quality, and style—a must for every Porsche enthusiast and restorer.
