Peter Mamerow to Become Team Principal at Albert Motorsport
Oberhausen, January 2026 – Albert Motorsport, one of Germany’s most traditional Porsche racing teams, starts the new year with a clear strategic focus: From January 2026, Peter Mamerow will take over as team principal.
Peter Mamerow is one of the most prominent figures in German motorsport. As a former DTM driver and factory pilot for Opel, VW, Audi, and BMW, as well as a successful Porsche Cup racer, he brings decades of experience from both factory and customer racing. His technical expertise, strategic thinking, and top-level racing skills define his career.
